HI Roume!
Blog your experience. Just like movie critic, only you can bring that to the information. Blog about what you care about. Write for money if you need to in the meantime. :)

Dear Liz,
I have been going through your blogs for quite a while and need to know some basic stuff(still).
1. I am a content writer. However I want to get my work published in recognized places. What should I do?
2. I love blogging. But things I like blogging about are already being blogged about a zillion times every minute. Should I compromise on my passion and write about something people would be interested in? Or should I write about something that I love, and take a risk to be the only one to read it?
Help me out please.
Best regards,
Roume.

Hi Karin!
That sounds perfect! You shouldn't be interrupted by every word when you're a thinker getting down thoughts. I'm all for waiting until the ideas are together and organized before worrying about what other folks see a spelling errors. :)

Great to see you!

FINALLY!! In one visit to Lis Strauss.com I have found the answers to the questions I have been asking for quite some time. "Why is it important Blog? Why should I do it? What will it accomplish?" Well, I believe I have my answers - and I appreciate it. I sort of feel "relieved". I am no longer in the darkness of "no clue"! I have subscribed, ordered the book, and look forward to reading new thoughts in the future. Thanks again,
Mark R. Reif

Hi Liz

Writing, I need to do loads of that nowadays. Business letters, webmarketing pages, blog posts etc etc.
And it does help if you write everyday, but I have one little problem: double Dutch English which distracts me - in line and on line spell checkers are underlining every other word ;-).

Since 1.5 week ago someone, Ed Rivis to be precise, pointed me toward the perfect solution for me: The Darkroom: http://they.misled.us/dark-room

A full black screen with a blinking cursor - just begging you to start writing. It doesn't care if you miss spell or miss type, it just fills your black screen with green words - a very relaxing and rewarding sight!
Since using the Darkroom I 'produce' more text and am able to work without interrupting the flow.
