Trust in Business: Trusting Myself

In order to inspire trust, I need to know certain things, communicate them clearly, and trust their truth myself. Those things that I need to know include
- that I am trustworthy.
- that I am competent.
- that I deliver on my promises.
- that I know the skill sets I have mastered and those I am learning.
- that I know where I can add value in most business situations.
- that I am able to say what I don’t know and do not do well.
Business person know thyself. When I know myself well and fully and I trust my abilities and competencies, I can speak to others about them without undue emotional overlay, because I have accepted reality.
On with life, a conversation can begin in which a relationship has a chance to get started.
