Talking about What We Do
When we talk about what we do the words we choose are important. What’s more important is how we feel about what we’re saying.
If we live our brand, we don’t think of talking about what we do as selling or as self-promotion. We think of it as talking about what we do — the same we talk about other parts of our life activities.
If we are fully-expressed in our brand, we are not at the center our customers/readers are. So the conversation will naturally be about them.
What do I do?
I talk to bloggers. I listen to their stories. I get amazed by the things they accomplish that I would never have imagined to start. I get fascinated by the ideas that get exchanged. I report them back to the folks who read my blog. Then I read the comments and find out even more.
I’m one lucky writer/blogger and strategy manager. Everything I need to know comes to me with my clients.

No wonder everyone wants ‘to talk’ with you

It’s always good to listen, Liz. People like to release their thoughts.
