Kathy Cassidy’s 1st Graders have a Podcast, a Wiki, and a Blog.

Liz Strauss | Business Blogging, Uniquely Liz | Monday, April 17th, 2006

That’s right. You heard me. Ms. Cassidy’s Class does podcasting They’re six. They podcast and have a wiki. They write stories on a wiki. They also have a story blog. They aren’t the only first graders who are blogging with their teachers. Plenty of kids are blogging at school and at home.

What’s more . . . these kids won’t be able to remember a world without that kind of technology. Of course, that exact technology will be outdated before they leave grade school. Their teachers know they need skills for jobs that don’t exist yet either.

Isn’t that reason enough to find out what’s going on?
